on the 3rd my exhibition opened and on the 17th i will be officially DONE with rutgers... ...so i should be ecstatic, right? except that im starting to think that all of the complaints i had about this place are what made it charming all along; i will miss my graphic design family and our makeshift home. ive spent more time with these people than with my own flesh and blood and I am not sure what I will do when i dont have the competition and guidance being in this environment provides. overall though, i cannot lie, i am very excited to finally make enough money where i can think about saving and not just surviving (if we can call the strug

it is march. and it is still cold. every year my caribbean blood increasingly loses patience with the crappy nyc weather. dont think it all gets better once it gets warm either...nyc is a stinky stinky place when it is hotter than hell and the ny-er attitude seems to become more concentrated as the temperatures rise. my favorite part of ny once it warms up tho? central park. i have a lot of good memories there and nothing beats staples of nyc culture like the delacorte theatre or going to the museums in the vicinity. i wonder if this summer i will be able to share that with someone else?
